Vision Screening

• All vision screening is conducted by our certified nurses in our clinic or onsite as required.
• Vision screening is completed with the use of Snellen eye charts for distance and Jaeger eye charts for near vision acuity.    
• Stereo Fly Testing is also used to identify eye defects and depth perception issues.
• Vision screening for color blindness is conducted using types of colored plates in the Ishihara test.  This test is often added to a vision screen package as required for the job description.
• A comprehensive vision exam can also be conducted with the use of a Titamus V2 machine if requested by the customer.
• Results of your exam will be reviewed with the client comprehensively answering any questions that should arise.
• Onsite OccHealth collaborates closely with Taradale Eye Center located in the same facility.   Often minor vision deficiencies can be resolved with a visit to the Optometrists of Taradale the same day.  #samedaysamefacility
